What Is A Colorado Microwedding?

Less crowd. More meaning. Better memories.

A microwedding is an intentionally smaller wedding focused on the people and moments that matter most.

Instead of renting a ballroom for a few hours, couples are choosing private wedding headquarters where family and friends can stay together, celebrate together, and actually enjoy the weekend.

That is where Experience Guide group lodging, private transportation, and Culinary Parties™ come together.

Your Weekend Starts Here

Guests arrive, bags drop, drinks pour, and the wedding weekend begins.

We Cracked The Formula

The old wedding model is overdue for an upgrade.

Traditional weddings often turn into a fragmented maze of venues, hotel blocks, vendor lists, catering minimums, parking problems, transportation headaches, and rigid timelines.

Traditional Wedding Model

More moving pieces.

  • Venue rental for a few hours
  • Hotel blocks spread across town
  • Required vendor lists
  • Separate contracts for lodging, food, transportation, and activities
  • Guests scattered before and after the event
Experience Guide Formula

One wedding headquarters.

Pricing & Value

Weekend is most popular. Weekday is best value.

Wedding planners and couples usually want to know two things up front: how much does this cost, and what are the options to make it more affordable?

FAQ

Colorado Microwedding FAQ

What is considered a microwedding?

A microwedding is an intentionally smaller wedding focused on meaningful experiences rather than large guest counts. Most include fewer than 50 guests and prioritize quality time, flexibility, and connection.

Can we get married during the week?

Absolutely. Weekday microweddings are often the best value because lodging costs are significantly lower, availability is better, and the overall experience can feel more relaxed.

How much does a Colorado microwedding cost?

Typical 3-night weekday microwedding experiences including lodging often fall around $3,000–$6,000. Peak-season weekend experiences typically range from $5,000–$10,000+ depending on property, dates, guest count, and add-ons.

What is the difference between overnight guests and attendees?

Overnight guests are the people sleeping at the property. Attendees include everyone participating in the celebration, whether they stay overnight or not. RiNo Compound can sleep up to 50 overnight guests and accommodate celebrations with up to 100 attendees.

Do you require certain vendors?

No. It’s your weekend. We do not require you to use a specific photographer, florist, planner, DJ, or vendor list. If you already have people you love, bring them. If you need help, we’re happy to recommend options.

Do you have a vendor list?

No required vendor list. We built Experience Guide to provide more flexibility, not more restrictions. We’ll help where you need help without forcing unnecessary handoffs.

Do you provide transportation?

Yes. Experience Guide operates its own shuttle van fleet with professional chauffeurs for airport pickups, group outings, Red Rocks visits, brewery trips, dinner transportation, and wedding weekend logistics.

Do you offer food and beverage services?

Yes. Our Culinary Parties™ include chef-driven dining experiences like Ultimate Pizza Party, Baller Brunch™, private chef dinners, cocktail spreads, and custom menus designed for groups staying in our properties.

What about parking?

Parking depends on property, guest count, and event timeline. Because our properties are in real neighborhoods, we are careful not to inconvenience neighbors with dozens of cars or scooters. Offsite parking, rideshare, carpooling, or shuttle transportation may be recommended.

Can we host the ceremony onsite?

In many cases, yes. Some properties have backyards, patios, decks, nearby parks, or flexible gathering spaces that work well for intimate ceremonies. We’ll help determine the best fit based on your group size and vision.

Is lodging included?

Yes. Lodging is the foundation of our microwedding experience. Our homes become your wedding headquarters where family and friends can stay, gather, eat, celebrate, and spend time together throughout the weekend.

Can you help with elopements?

Yes. While this page focuses on microweddings, we can also help with intimate Colorado elopements, especially weekday stays and smaller groups looking for a simple, memorable celebration.

Can we bring our own planner?

Yes. You can bring your own planner, photographer, officiant, florist, DJ, or creative team. We’re here to support the lodging, experience, transportation, and hospitality logistics where needed.

How far in advance should we book?

Peak-season weekends should be booked as early as possible. Weekday dates typically offer more flexibility and better value, especially for smaller groups and quick planning timelines.

What happens after we request a quote?

Tell us your dates, overnight guest count, attendee count, budget, and vision. We’ll recommend the best property fit and package options, then send a formal quote through our secure booking system.
