- 🪶 Trailhead Package – an introductory journey held in Denver, ideal for first-time explorers or small private groups. ($169/person/night)
- 🌿 Ridgeline Package – a more immersive Denver-based experience that blends ceremony, integration, and community connection. ($219/person/night)

Who is this experience suitable for?
Our Guided Mushroom Experiences are ideal for individuals or groups who are curious, with open-heart, and ready to move into greater clarity and connection. Whether you’re new to natural medicine or you’ve done other healing retreats, we tailor your journey to your comfort level and intentions. We spend time in advance setting clear intentions, preparing for the experience and integrating afterwards so you feel safe, grounded, and ready.
(Think: welcoming, inclusive, non-intimidating vibe.)
Who is this experience NOT suitable for?
Our guided mushroom experiences are designed for healthy, emotionally stable adults who are ready for intentional growth and exploration. That said, they’re not recommended for anyone who:
- Is currently taking SSRIs, MAOIs, or other mood-altering prescriptions that may interact with psilocybin.
- Has a personal or family history of psychosis, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder.
- Is experiencing acute mental-health challenges such as panic attacks, suicidal ideation, or severe anxiety.
- Is pregnant or nursing.
- Is under 21 years old.
We also ask that anyone currently going through major life instability (such as detox, withdrawal, or unresolved trauma) wait until they’re feeling more grounded before participating.
💛 Our facilitators are happy to talk through any concerns privately to determine if this is a safe and aligned fit for you.
Is it legal and safe?
Yes — our Guided Mushroom Experiences are designed to be completely legal and responsibly facilitated under Colorado’s new natural medicine framework.
All experiences are held in private settings with trained facilitators who prioritize safety, comfort, and consent. We focus on intentional preparation, measured dosing, and integration support to ensure every journey feels grounded, meaningful, and empowering — not rushed or overwhelming.
We never operate in a “party” context — our goal is to help you explore consciousness safely, intentionally, and within Colorado’s evolving guidelines for natural medicine use.
Does the Guided Mushroom Experience include overnight lodging?
Yes! Each of our private homes is licensed and insured as a luxury vacation rental that comfortably sleeps up to 30 guests.
Our properties are designed to combine the comfort of a home with the features of a private event space, creating a perfect setting for multi-day group celebrations and weekend getaways.
Single-day excursions are not offered at this time. We encourage allocating 3 nights for the Guided Mushroom Experience.
How much does the Guided Mushroom Experience cost?
Every journey is custom — but our all-inclusive Guided Mushroom Experience Packages make planning simple and transparent:
⭐ Trailhead Package — $169 per person, per night
A grounded introduction. Includes downtown Denver lodging, group facilitation, guided ceremony setup, and access to all core wellness tools.
⛰️ Ridgeline Package — $219 per person, per night
Our most popular tier — combines everything in Trailhead plus enhanced meals, curated music journey facilitation, and integration support.
🏔️ Summit Package — $269 per person, per night
The full Experience Guide treatment — premium mountain lodging setup, private facilitators, and a fully curated environment for the deepest, most intentional journey.
Our experiences are designed for groups of 12 or more, but if your group is smaller, reach out anyway — we can often make magic happen depending on the date, facilitator availability, and lodging setup. 🌿✨
Add-ons like private chefs, transportation, and wellness activities can also be tailored around your group’s vibe and budget. 🍄💛
How do I prepare for the experience?
Before the actual ceremony you’ll receive a preparation session: we’ll help you clarify your intention, share practical guidelines (on sleep, nutrition, hydration, electronics) and introduce the space and the facilitators. We’ll also send a checklist of recommended items (e.g., journal, comfortable clothing, water bottle) and answer any questions so you arrive relaxed and informed.
What happens after the ceremony — how do I integrate the experience?
Integration is a key part of the journey. We host post-journey reflection circles, journaling prompts, and optional 1:1 follow-up coaching. You’ll leave with takeaway tools (such as intention cards, grounding practices, breathwork sequences) to bring the transformation into everyday life. We want your shift to carry forward — not just the “weekend” feeling.
What safety protocols do you have in place?
Safety is always central. We work with trained facilitators, follow guidelines around intention, setting and support. The lodging is private and comfortable, there’s sober transport or on-call support, and we ensure all guests are briefed and checked-in before the journey begins. We also provide care for post-journey recovery and integration so you’re never leaving the “trip zone” without support.
Can I come alone? Or does it have to be with a group?
Our Guided Mushroom Experiences are designed for private groups of 12 or more guests, creating a shared sense of trust, safety, and connection throughout the journey.
If your group is smaller than 12, you’re still welcome to reach out — we can sometimes make exceptions depending on the week, facilitator availability, and property schedule. (We love finding creative ways to make it work whenever possible!)
Because each experience is fully customized — from lodging and ceremony setup to meals and integration — we only host one group at a time to ensure privacy and focus.
Are there any health or other considerations I should be aware of?
Yes — we advise that you consult with your physician if you are on medication, have a history of severe psychiatric conditions (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder) or significant cardiovascular issues. In your pre-call we’ll review your health profile and support level to make sure this journey is right for you. Our intention is safe, supported exploration—not risky adventure.
🍄 Did you know how psilocybin became mainstream today?
Long before modern science caught on, indigenous cultures across Mexico and Central America were already using sacred mushrooms in ceremonial rituals for connection, healing, and insight.
In the 1950s, an adventurous ethnobotanist named R. Gordon Wasson traveled to Oaxaca, where he participated in a Mazatec ceremony led by healer María Sabina — one of the first times the Western world had documented such a ritual.
That journey inspired global curiosity. Soon after, the pioneering mycologist Roger Heim helped identify the genus Psilocybe, and chemist Albert Hofmann (the same Swiss scientist who discovered LSD) successfully isolated and synthesized psilocybin in the lab.
From sacred roots to scientific rediscovery, the story of psilocybin is a reminder that these experiences aren’t new — they’re ancient practices re-emerging with modern understanding and respect. 🌿✨
Am I able to book a house for just one night?
Most of our homes require a three-night minimum stay on weekends during peak season to ensure availability and allow for full setup and cleanup between guests.
If you’re hoping to book for less than three nights, we recommend contacting our team directly before reserving. In some cases, we can accommodate one- or two-night stays — typically when your arrival date is within 30–60 days of booking and the property’s schedule allows.
Our team will review your dates and do our best to find a solution that fits your plans.
What premium or add-on services do you offer?
We offer several optional upgrades to elevate your experience even further. Popular add-ons include:
•Private drivers and in-house transportation (limos, shuttle vans and luxury electric SUV’s)
•Private chef and bartender services through our in-house culinary team
•Themed décor packages customized to your group’s style
•Professional photography and videography
•Activity coordination with trusted local partners
These enhancements can be added to any package and tailored to your group’s preferences.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We recommend reserving your Experience Guide property at least 3–4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date, theme, and home. Peak weekends — especially in spring and summer — tend to fill up quickly.
If you’re planning last-minute, reach out to our team. We’ll do everything we can to accommodate your request and create an amazing celebration on short notice.
How many guests can your properties accommodate?
Each of our private homes is designed to host up to 30 overnight guests and 50 attendees, making them ideal for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. If you’re planning a bigger event, we can coordinate multiple nearby homes or custom setups to accommodate your full group comfortably.
We’ll help ensure every guest has the right space and experience — whether they’re staying overnight or joining just for the festivities.
Do you offer on-site staff during our stay?
We provide a warm, in-person welcome when you arrive, including a brief property tour and orientation to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in the space. After check-in, our team steps back so you can fully enjoy the privacy of your stay.
If you’d like additional assistance, we’re happy to arrange on-site staff for your celebration or throughout your stay — including hosts, chefs, bartenders, or activity coordinators. These services are available by request and tailored to your group’s preferences.
Our goal is to strike the perfect balance between personalized service and complete guest privacy.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
We know plans occasionally change, so here’s how our cancellation and rescheduling policy works under the Experience Guide Terms & Conditions:
- All bookings require acceptance of our full Terms & Conditions and Liability Waiver.
- Because of the nature of our peer-to-peer lodging model and coordination with third-party homeowners and providers, we cannot guarantee flexibility with reservation changes outside what is explicitly allowed.
- Cancellations or adjustments must be handled directly with our reservation team.
- Most times, if you need to cancel and we’re still able to book the property for the same dates, we will happily credit or refund options. But please note this is not guaranteed and very unpredictable. If there’s a chance you will need to cancel, we strongly advise against booking.
- View cancellation policy details here.
Can I customize themes, décor, food, or entertainment?
Absolutely! Every Experience Guide party is tailored to your vision. Choose from our popular themes or collaborate with our event team to design something entirely your own.
We’ll help coordinate custom décor, catering, entertainment, and activities to match your preferences and budget. Whether you’re dreaming of a cozy backyard celebration or an immersive themed weekend, we’ll bring your ideas to life seamlessly.
Are the homes family-friendly?
Definitely. Our venues are family- and kid-friendly, featuring plenty of space for play, age-appropriate entertainment options, and safe indoor and outdoor areas.
We can also coordinate childcare or kids’ activity add-ons upon request, so parents can relax and enjoy the celebration too.
Can we bring our own food, drinks, or decorations?
Of course! You’re welcome to bring your own food, beverages, and décor if you prefer. Our team will ensure your setup fits safely and beautifully within the home.
We also offer professional catering and décor packages if you’d rather let us handle everything — perfect for guests who want a truly hands-free experience.
What types of activities or entertainment can you arrange?
We can organize nearly any experience you have in mind — from guided outdoor adventures and private pool parties to themed game nights and live entertainment.
Each property offers unique amenities, and our planners can recommend Denver-area experiences or in-home options that match your group’s energy and interests.
How do I get started with planning my party?
Getting started is easy! Simply fill out the free quote form on our website or contact our Experience Guide team directly via text or phone call @ (303) 323-1039.
We’ll help match you with the perfect rental property, confirm your preferred dates, and start customizing your celebration. From there, our event planners handle every detail — so you can focus on making memories.
What other types of parties does Experience Guide plan and host?
While we’re best known for our bachelor and bachelorette party weekends, family reunions, corporate retreats, holiday parties, and wellness getaways — all of our group-parties and group-experiences are customized to fit each group’s style, size, and vision.
Whether you’re celebrating a major life junction or simply gathering friends for an elevated Colorado experience, our team can create a personalized itinerary and setting that makes it truly memorable.
✨ PRO TIP: Ask about having your Guided Mushroom Experience in a lakeside setting!
Can I tour a property before booking?
Yes! Private property tours may be arranged for free depending on the booking schedule. We’re happy to arrange a virtual or in-person walkthrough when possible so you can feel confident before booking.
We also have virtual walkthrough videos for some of our properties on our YouTube channel.
Are pets allowed at your properties?
To ensure the comfort, cleanliness, and safety of all our guests, we maintain a no-pet policy across all Experience Guide properties.
We understand that pets are part of the family, but because our homes are privately owned and carefully maintained for group events, animals are not permitted on the premises.
If you’re traveling with a service animal, please contact our team prior to booking so we can discuss available accommodations in compliance with applicable laws.
Do your homes have outdoor spaces for activities or events?
Most of our properties include private outdoor spaces, such as decks, patios, backyards, or pools — ideal for hosting outdoor games, meals, or celebrations. We can also help arrange outdoor setups like canopy tents, group seating areas, separate VIP areas or entertainment equipment upon request.
Do you offer event planning or coordination services?
Yes — our event specialists can handle everything from itinerary design to vendor coordination and on-site management. Whether you need full event planning or simple setup support, we can tailor our services to your needs.
Do you work with vendors or local partners?
Yes — Experience Guide proudly blends in-house event services with a select network of trusted local partners.
Our transportation, culinary, and event coordination teams are managed entirely in-house, giving you access to private vehicles with professional chauffeurs, private chef and bartender services, and dedicated party coordinators who handle setup, service, and cleanup.
For add-on activities and entertainment, we partner with a curated group of local vendors — from guided outdoor adventures to live performers and wellness experiences — to bring unique Colorado-based touches to your event.
What should we know about parking at the property?
Because our homes are located in residential neighborhoods, there are no designated public parking lots affiliated with Experience Guide. Most properties do offer free, unmetered street parking, but availability can vary depending on the size of your group and the neighborhood.
If your event will involve more than five vehicles, we strongly recommend arranging off-site parking or shuttle service — both of which our team can help coordinate through our in-house transportation department. This helps ensure a smooth experience for your group while keeping things respectful for our neighbors.
Guests are encouraged to review all posted parking signs carefully, as Experience Guide cannot be held responsible for parking citations or towing.
To make sure parking is simple and stress-free, we suggest contacting us prior to booking so we can help map out the best parking plan for your group.
Is there an age requirement to book or attend an event?
Yes. The responsible booking party must be at least 21 years of age and present a valid photo ID at check-in that matches the credit card on file.
All guests who choose to consume alcohol or cannabis during their stay must also be 21 or older, in full compliance with Colorado state law.
Experience Guide enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy for underage drinking or any misrepresentation of guest ages. Violations of this policy will result in immediate eviction without credit or refund, and may involve notification of local authorities if necessary.
Our goal is to ensure every celebration remains safe, enjoyable, and compliant for all guests and our partner homeowners.
